The HERIVIS environment

The HERIVIS environment is the technological realisation of the HERIVIS model (see Models und Methods).

The intersections beteween the real world, the technical instruments to be used in real world for analysis and control of risks and the "social web" are in focus of the HERIVIS environment.

HERIVIS-ACI

HERIVIS analysis- and controlling instruments (HERIVIS-ACI) as part of the HERIVIS environment get used for the interconnection of methods and technology in order to implement new applications.

HERIVIS-ACI include methods of measurement, analysis, data processing and interpretation of risks with the aim to deliver informationen at organisational level.

kohs.PIMEX software framework

The kohs.PIMEX software framework is the base for the devlopment of applications in the area of wearable sensors, wireless sensor data, mobile applications for visualising risiks as well as in the area of content creation.

The kohs.PIMEX Software framework is part of the HERIVIS environment. Primary informationen and data streams get organised in kohs.PIMEX projects and kohs.PIMEX observations. The data strutures can get adapted and expanded dynamically.

The kohs.PIMEX software framework is availble in version 4.

By the concept of "kohs.PIMEX controlpoints" any logical structure can get applied on the PIMEX data. With that approach also complex innovation processes at changing conditions can get controlled.

MADAS

MADAS (measurement and data aquisition system) is the technical layer of the HERIVIS environment and is dedicated to the aquisition of data in general, and particularly to the aquisition of measurement data from wearable sensors.

MADAS integration

MADAS offers a schema for the integration of new sensor technology into the HERIVIS environment.

The MADAS integration schema assists within these areas of development: sensor hardware integration, data aquisition, wireless data transmission, synchronisation.

The development of the MADAS Schema has been performed within the research project: HERIVIS - Health Risk Visualisation System (2006 - 2010).
